Andy Chang

Chang, Wing Chung , known as Andy Chang , ( Chinese  鄭穎聰  /  郑颖聪 , Pinyin Zhèng Yǐngcōng , Jyutping Zeng 6 Wing 6 cung 1 ; born October 26, 1996 , Macau ) is a Macau racing car driver .

Career

Chang began his motorsport career in karting in 2010 , where he remained active until 2013. Among other things, he was twelfth in the KF1-CIK-FIA Kart World Championship in 2012. He also made his debut in formula racing in 2013 . He took part as a guest starter at two events each of the British Formula Ford and the Formula Masters China . In 2014 Chang moved to the British Formula 3 championship for Double R Racing . He was third three times and second once. After the fourth of seven race weekends, he lost his cockpit. At the end of the season he was in sixth place. He then joined the West-Tec F3 team and was given a cockpit in the European Formula 3 championship . He started at the last three events. Originally it was planned at the beginning of the year that Chang would take part in races of the Euroformula Open for the West-Tec F3 team , but he only completed test drives in this series. In 2015 , Chang entered the European Formula 3 championship with Fortec Motorsports in the second half of the season . A 17th place was his best result. In the 2016 European Formula 3 championship , Chang completed two events for T-Sport .
