Anestis Logothetis (born October 27, 1921 in Burgas , Bulgaria , † January 6, 1994 in Vienna ) was an Austrian composer of Greek origin.

From 1945 to 1951 he studied composition , conducting and piano at the Musikhochschule Wien , from 1952 he was a private teacher and since the late 1950s he developed his own system of graphic notation , based on twelve-tone and serial techniques , which made it possible to create sound characters and making sounds producible improvisationally. One of his best-known works is called “Signs as an Aggregate State of Music” (1974). Logothetis was buried at the Ottakringer Friedhof . He was a member of the artists' association MAERZ
