Aneta Stanisława Białkowska-Michalak (born August 6, 1977 in Poznan ) is a Polish canoe racer and participant in the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney and 2004 in Athens . She starts for the Poznania club in Poznan .

Career

At her world championship debut World Championship 1997 in Dartmouth Aneta Białkowska finished fourth together with Aneta Pastuszka , Beata Sokołowska and Agata Piszcz over 500 m. At the 1999 World Championships in Milan , she won bronze medals in the K-4 over 500 m with Karolina Sadalska , Dorota Kuczkowska and Joanna Skowroń , and over 200 m with Beata Pastuszka, Beata Sokołowska and Agata Piszcz.

At the 2001 World Championships in Poznan , she won over 1000 m silver with Karolina Sadalska, Joanna Skowroń and Dorota Kuczkowska, while she could not win a medal at the European Championships in Milan in the same year .

She won her first gold medal for the Polish women's kayak foursome at the 2002 World Cup in Seville . She won over 1000 m with Aneta Pastuszka, Joanna Skowroń and Karolina Sadalska. Also this year she was less successful at the European Championships in Szeged , but was able to achieve silver in the K-2 over 1000 m with Joanna Skowroń and bronze in the K-4 over 500 m with Aneta Pastuszka, Joanna Skowroń and Karolina Sadalska.

She reached silver at the 2003 World Championships in Gainesville over 500 m with Karolina Sadalska, Małgorzata Czajczyńska, Joanna Skowroń.

At the home European championships in Poznan in 2005 , she won gold in the 1000 m for the first time together with Edyta Dzieniszewska , Iwona Pyzalska and Beata Mikołajczyk .

When she took part in the 2000 Olympic Games in K-4 and the 2004 Olympic Games with Karolina Sadalska, Małgorzata Czajczyńska and Joanna Skowroń, she narrowly missed a medal twice with fourth places over the distance of 500 m.

She was multiple Polish champion in K-4: 2001 over 500 m, 2002 over 200 m and 1000 m; 2005 over 200 m and 500 m and 2007 over 200 m and 1000 m and in K-2 over 500 m: 2003 to 2005 and 2007. There were also other silver and bronze medals.

She is married to the Polish canoeist Dariusz Białkowski and lives in Bydgoszcz .
