Dorota Kuczkowska (born July 21, 1979 in Warsaw , Masovian Voivodeship ) is a Polish canoe racer and participant in the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing . She starts for the Club Spójnia Warszawa .

Career

Her greatest success is fourth place at the Olympic Games in Beijing in 2008 in K-4 with Aneta Konieczna , Beata Mikołajczyk and Edyta Dzieniszewska , where she missed the bronze medal by not even five hundredths of a second.

At the 2001 World Championships in Poznan , she was able to win the bronze medal with the Polish team in K-4 over 200 m with Karolina Sadalska , Aneta Pastuszka and Joanna Skowroń and the silver medal over 1000 m with Karolina Sadalska, Aneta Białkowska and Joanna Skowroń. She achieved another bronze medal at the 2007 World Championships in Duisburg in K-2 together with Marta Walczykiewicz .

At European Championships she has so far achieved second place in 2004 in Poznan with Iwona Pyzalska (K-2 1000 m) and several third places in 2002 in Szeged (K-4 1000 m), 2007 in Pontevedra (K-2 500 m) and 2008 in Milan (K-1 200 m).

At the Polish Championships, she won three gold medals, nine silver and 13 bronze medals.
