Angel Blue

Angel Blue (born Angel Joy Blue in Los Angeles , California on May 3, 1984 ) is an American soprano .

Life

Angel Blue played guitar, saxophone and piano in her youth. In 2005 she was voted Miss Hollywood. Blue graduated with a Bachelor of Music ( University of Redlands ) in 2005 and a Master of Music ( University of California, Los Angeles ) in 2007

In the 2008/2009 season she made her debut with the San Francisco Opera Company as Clara in the Gershwin opera Porgy and Bess . Since then she has been in demand as a singer worldwide; In 2017 she had her first appearance at the Metropolitan Opera as Mimi in La Bohème .
