Angela Heide (* in Vienna as Angela Eder ) is an Austrian dramaturge , curator and cultural manager .

Life

Angela Heide attended the Bundesrealgymnasium Vienna, where she graduated in 1986 . She then studied theater , film and media studies , German , philosophy and English in Vienna , Berlin and England . During her studies she worked as a study assistant at the Institute for Theater Studies at the University of Vienna and as an intern and assistant at various Viennese theaters. From 1995 to 1997 she lived and worked in Oxford , London and Los Angeles, among others . From 1997 to 2003 she worked with Fritz Muliar . In 2005 she did her doctorate at the Institute for Theater, Film and Media Studies at the University of Vienna.

In 2000 she returned to Vienna and in the following years worked for the video / internet TV department of Krone Multimedia as well as editor and department head of the cultural-scientific networking platform for MOE studies Kakanien revisited . Anna Marboe) and "Nanjing, the Future" (Gornaya, R. Simon Dworaczek). In 2015 she also directed the world premiere of Elfriede Jelinek's text “Schlüsselgewalt” and was responsible for the overall management of the 50th anniversary celebrations of the Documentation Center for Modern Austrian Literature. In 2018 she worked at WERK X together with director Ali M. Abdullah on the ensemble development "Uprising of the Innocents". In 2019 she took over the editing of the drama programs at the Salzburg Festival as well as the editing of the festival catalog of the renowned Vienna Festival for New Music Wien Modern.

Literature, science, art and culture

From 2010 to 2012 she was the publishing director at Edition Atelier . She also worked in the areas of consulting, text and editing. Since 2001 she has been the managing director of artminutes ; Founding member and co-director of Wolke 7 (together with Franz Denk) in the field of sustainable district work, district management and art in public spaces since 2002 . In 2019 she and René Patschok were responsible for the conception and management of the project "Lerchenfelder Perspektiven" and also carried out a research project on the history of Viennese cinemas on behalf of the Vienna City and State Archives (MA 8).
