Angela Kaupp

Angela Kaupp (* 1960 in Cologne ) is a German Roman Catholic theologian .

Life

From 1979 to 1980 she completed a voluntary social year at the Caritas Children's Village St. Anton in Riedenberg . From 1980 to 1986 she studied at the University of Würzburg (degrees as Diplom-Theologin Univ. And Diplom-Pädagogin Univ.). From 1986 to 1993 she was a pastoral assistant and Pastoral Officer , (50% each parish activities and 50% Catholic boy community , KJG, Diocesan Association) in the diocese of Wuerzburg . From 1993 to 1998 she was theological consultant with a focus on "community catechesis " at the Deutscher Katecheten-Verein eV, federal association based in Munich . From 1998 to 2001 she was a research assistant at the Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg , Faculty of Theology, Department of Education and Catechetics. From 2001 to 2008 she was an academic councilor . After completing her doctorate in 2004 ( Dr. theol. ) At the Theological Faculty in Freiburg im Breisgau in the subject of religious education, she was an academic senior councilor from 2008. From 2008 to 2009 she represented the professorship for religious education at the TU Dresden . From 2009 to 2012 she represented the professorship for pedagogy and catechetics at the Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg. Since 2012 she has been teaching as a professor for practical theology, religious education and subject didactics / Bible didactics at the University of Koblenz-Landau , Campus Koblenz .

Her main research interests are the question of space in religious didactics, religious development along the life cycle, performative religious didactics and religious instruction in public schools, religious teaching / learning processes within and outside of school lessons (school pastoral care, catechesis, youth work), religious teaching / learning processes and the question of the gender, person and habitus of the teacher and their impact on teaching, intercultural and interdenominational questions of religious teaching / learning processes in the context of country comparisons and learning and study workshops: school practice in religious didactics.
