Angelica Olmo (born June 18, 1996 in Italy ) is an Italian triathlete and junior world champion duathlon (2014).

Career

Angelica Olmo started triathlon at the age of 11 and in June 2013 she came third in the European Junior Triathlon Championships (750 m swimming, 20 km cycling and 5 km running).

Junior World Champion Duathlon 2014

In May 2014, the then 17-year-old became junior world champion in the duathlon in Pontevedra, Spain .

She belongs to the sports center of the Carabinieri and in 2016 the police officer in Bulgaria was U23 European triathlon champion.

In March 2018 she won her first World Cup medal with third place in Mooloolaba (Australia). In September she finished third in the U23 World Triathlon Championships in Australia.

In 2019 she won her first World Cup race in New Zealand in March.
