Angelo Nijskens (born June 1, 1963 in Hulst) is a former Dutch football player .

Career

Nijskens came from the Belgian club Sporting Lokeren for the 1988/89 season in the Bundesliga . He was hired by Bayer 05 Uerdingen . In the team of coach Rolf Schafstall he stood in the attack next to players like Stefan Kuntz , Reinhold Mathy and Marcel Witeczek . During the season he played 17 games and was behind Kuntz, who scored 13 goals and Holger Fach (6 goals), the most successful goalscorer of his team with five goals. On matchday 31, Nijskens scored two goals after being substituted on in the 63rd minute of the game, the game against Hannover 96 ended 7-3. After the season he went back to Belgium. After four rounds for the clubs RFC Liège , Sporting Charleroi and Sporting Lokeren, he came back to Germany. He played two seasons for Alemannia Aachen in the third-class regional league. He let his career end at the Dutch HSV Hoek.
