Angelo Omodeo Salè (born February 20, 1876 in Mortara , Lombardy , † June 3, 1941 in Posteghe , municipality of Polpenazze del Garda ) was an Italian engineer .

Omodeo graduated from the Polytechnic in Milan to study engineering , which he finished as 23-year-old. He was particularly interested in hydraulic engineering . Omodeo was involved in the planning and implementation of numerous large hydropower plants in Italy and at times also worked as a consultant in the Soviet Union . The Lago Omodeo , a reservoir in Sardinia, bears his name.
