Angola Air Charter is an Angolan charter airline based in Luanda and based on the Aeroporto Internacional Quatro de Fevereiro .
history
Angola Air Charter was founded in 1987 as a subsidiary of TAAG Angola Airlines . It is on the list of operating bans for the airspace of the European Union .
Destinations
Angola Air Charter serves various destinations in Africa . In Europe, Belgium , the Netherlands , Great Britain and the Soviet Union were mainly served in the past .

Incidents
Angola Air Charter recorded six incidents in its history, one of which was fatal, and a total of six aircraft had to be written off:
- On July 21, 1988, a crashed cargo plane of the type Boeing 707-300 ( mark D2-TOV) with six crew landing at Lagos ; nobody survived.
- On January 5, 1990, a Lockheed L-100 Hercules (registration D2-THB) with seven people on board was hit by a surface-to-air anti-aircraft missile after taking off from Menongue Airport . The Hercules was able to return to the airport, but was destroyed.
- On April 7, 1994, the brakes of a Lockheed L-100 Hercules (registration D2-THC) ignited after landing. The machine was destroyed by fire.
- On January 31, 1995, a Boeing 727-100 (registration number D2-TJB) had an accident while landing at Huambo Airport during a cargo flight . The three-man crew remained unharmed; the aircraft was damaged beyond repair.
- On August 19, 1997, a Boeing 727-100 (registration number D2-TJC) had an accident while landing at Lukapa Airport .
- On May 10, 2001, a Boeing 727-100 (registration D2-FCK) had an accident while landing at Nzagi airport . All eleven inmates survived; the machine was beyond repair.
