Anita Brägger

Anita Belz-Brägger (born October 6, 1972 ) is a former Swiss athlete specializing in medium-distance running .

She was a multiple winner of Swiss championships and was able to qualify several times for major international events. In 2005 she suffered from a pollen allergy and laryngitis , whereupon she announced her retirement from elite sport in October of that year. Anita Brägger is 1.71 m tall and had a competition weight of 58 kg. She is married to the long-distance runner Christian Belz and they have three daughters together.
