Anke Plättner
Anke Plättner (* 1963 in Lank-Latum ) is a German television journalist. She is best known for moderating the Berlin Phoenix Round . Plättner headed this political discussion program alternately with Gaby Dietzen from 2004 to the end of 2009 and again since September 2015.
Life and professional history
Anke Plättner grew up in Linz on the Rhine . After studying at the University of Journalism in Utrecht , she worked for Deutschlandfunk and numerous Dutch media from 1987 . From 1989 she worked in various positions at WDR and moderated the culture magazine Linie K , the Europamagazin and the current hour . After moderating the ARD magazine Landzeit aktuell for three years and from 2002 as editor of the news and documentation channel phoenix in Berlin , she was WDR correspondent in the German capital from 2010 to 2013.
Anke Plättner has been working as a freelance journalist, moderator and media trainer since January 2013. She moderates the WDR television program one to one from Berlin and regularly conducts political interviews for the ARD morning magazine . Since September 2015 she has hosted the talk show Phoenix Runde .
Plättner speaks fluent Dutch .
Prizes and awards
- On November 19, 2015 she received the award "Ridder in de Orde van Oranje-Nassau ". The appointment was made by decision of King Willem-Alexander on October 6, 2015.
