Anke Strüver

Anke Strüver (born February 20, 1970 in Göttingen ) is professor for social and economic geography at the Karl-Franzens-Universität Graz.

Life

Anke Strüver studied theater, film and television studies at the University of Bochum from 1990 to 1992 . She then studied geography from 1993 to 1999 with the minor subjects ethnology and political science at the University of Hamburg; in 2004 she received her doctorate . Various lectureships and visiting professorships followed until Anke Strüver accepted a professorship for social and economic geography at the University of Hamburg in August 2010. In 2018 she moved to the Karl Franzens University in Graz.
