Ann-Christine Hagberg (born January 20, 1948 in Karlstad ) is a former Swedish swimmer who broke three European records in the 100 m freestyle within one month in 1963, at the age of 15 .

Soon after she was born, her family moved to Uppsala , where she started swimming with a club at the age of eight. At the European Swimming Championships in Leipzig in 1962 , she was eighth. At the Olympic Summer Games in Tokyo in 1964 , she was seventh in freestyle and reached fifth place with the relay over 4 × 100 m. With the relay over 4 × 100 m freestyle at the European Swimming Championships in 1966 in Utrecht , she won the silver medal. In the individual competition, she missed a medal and came fourth. Throughout her career she has set four European records and 35 Swedish national records. She was voted Sportswoman of the Year 1963 by the Swedish newspaper Stockholms Tidningen .

After finishing her swimming career, she studied sociology , psychology and law at the University of Lund and obtained a bachelor's degree in these subjects. She then worked in Stockholm for the Swedish Scientific Society, the Swedish Union Association PTK and from 1979 to 1981 the Swedish Swimming Association . In 1986 she moved to an advertising agency and became its president.
