Ann-Kathrin "Anka" Lindner (* 1987 in Hanover ) is a German golfer and a golf trainer at the St. Leon-Rot Golf Club .

Career

Ann-Kathrin "Anka" Lindner started playing golf at the Burgdorf Golf Club in 2003, completed her professional training as a sports and fitness clerk there in 2010, and in the same year was honored by the city of Burgdorf as an ambassador for sport due to many regional and national successes.

As an amateur, she was both German team champion and European team champion with the team at the St. Leon-Rot Golf Club.

Lindner has been a professional player since 2013. Your training base is the St. Leon-Rot Golf Club , which was also the venue for the 2015 Solheim Cup . After making the leap into the professional camp, Lindner achieved her first victory at the Honma Pilsen Golf Masters ( Ladies European Tour (LET)) in her seventh tournament in 2013 .

After a cruciate ligament rupture in March 2016, Lindner celebrated her comeback in front of a home crowd at the ISPS Handa Ladies European Masters in September in Hubbelrath.

For the 2017 season, Lindner has full rights to play on the Ladies European Tour .

When performing at Wetten, dass ..? on December 3, 2011, she chipped more balls into a basketball hoop than a professional basketball player scored from the triple line at the same time.
