Ann Biderman

Ann Biderman (born August 15, 1951 ) is an American screenwriter.

Life

In 1984 Biderman was involved in the story for the film American Dreamer . She only reappeared as a screenwriter in the 1990s on the New York Cops - NYPD Blue series . For this she was awarded an Emmy . Three thrillers followed, and she only returned to television in the 2000s.

In 1997, based on her script, she made the literary film adaptation of Miss Smilla's Feeling for Snow , which goes back to the book of the same name by Peter Høeg .

Biderman developed the television series Southland (2009-2013) and Ray Donovan (since 2013). She was also involved in both as executive producer .
