Anna Śliwińska

Anna Elżbieta Śliwińska (born March 12, 1956 in Sosnowiec ; † March 9, 2015 there ) was a Polish pharmacist and politician.

After graduating from high school in Sosnowiec , she studied pharmacy at the Silesian Medical University of Katowice . Anna Śliwińska was on the District Presidium of the Chamber of Pharmacies in Katowice between 1995 and 1999. From 1999 to 2001 she was Vice-President of the Apteka Polska Chamber of Commerce and then until 2004 Vice-Chair of the National Council of this Chamber. At the same time she has been President of Apteka Polska for Silesia since 2001 and she is Vice President of the Silesian Chamber of Pharmacies. She ran unsuccessfully in the 2005 parliamentary elections and early elections in 2007 . However, due to the plane crash near Smolensk , in which numerous Polish politicians were killed, she replaced the perished Grzegorz Dolniak . She moved into parliament for the Platforma Obywatelska ( citizens' platform ) without being a member of the party. She was sworn in on May 19, 2010.

Anna Śliwińska was married and had a daughter.
