Anna Barbara Speckner (born October 20, 1902 in Munich ; † February 10, 1995 there ) was a German harpsichordist , pianist , music arranger and music editor.

Life

Anna Barbara Speckner studied with the pianist August Schmid-Lindner (1870–1959) at the Munich Music Academy , taught at the Günther School in Munich from 1927 to 1936 , and led a harpsichord class at the summer academies of the Mozarteum in Salzburg from 1962 to 1968 , from 1966 also at the Orff Institute Salzburg (an institution of the Mozarteum). She was married to the musicologist Thrasybulos Georgiades (1907–1977) since 1936 . Her artistic places of activity were Munich, Athens , Heidelberg and Salzburg.
