Anna Bulanowa ( Russian Анна Була́нова ; * May 12, 1994 ) is a Kyrgyz athlete who competes in both the sprint and the long jump .

Athletic career

Anna Bulanova gained her first international experience at the World Youth Championships in 2011 near Lille , where she was eliminated in the first round of the 100-meter run in 12.82 s. In 2012 she took part in the Asian Indoor Championships in Hangzhou , China , where she won the bronze medal with the Kyrgyz 4 x 400 meter relay. In addition, she took eighth place in the long jump with 4.94 m. Shortly thereafter, she took part in the 60-meter indoor world championships in Istanbul and was eliminated there with 6.16 seconds in the first heat. Two years later she participated again in the Asian Indoor Championshipsin Hangzhou and this time was seventh in the long jump with 5.78 m. At the 2015 Summer Universiade in Gwangju , South Korea , she was eliminated from the qualification with 5.44 m. In 2016 she finished ninth at the Asian Indoor Championships in Doha with 5.84 m.

In 2018 she again took part over 60 meters in the Asian Indoor Championships in Tehran , where she was eighth in the final in 7.57 s. At the end of August she took part in the Asian Games for the first time in the Indonesian capital Jakarta , where she reached the semi-finals over 200 meters and finished the long jump with 6.09 m in eleventh place. The following year she finished seventh and eighth over 100 and 200 meters at the Asian Championships in Doha in 11.61 s and 23.70 s. Then she retired at the Student World Games in Naples with 11.88 s in advance.

In 2011, Bulanova became the Kyrgyz indoor champion in the 60-meter run .
