Anna Della Croce di Dojola

Anna Della Croce di Dojola (* 18th May 1943 in Pavia ) is an Italian diplomat in retirement .

Education

In 1965 she graduated from the University of Pavia with a degree in political science .

Life

In 1967 she joined the foreign service and was employed in the cultural relations department from 1970. Then she was attached to the embassy in Belgrade until 1972 . In 1983 she was employed in the mission to the FAO . Then she was employed in the Department of Disarmament and Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty . In 1996 she received exequatur as consul general in Philadelphia . Then she was a delegation counselor in Berlin . In 2004 she became Ministre plénipotentiaire and worked on Afghanistan in the Asia and Oceania Department. From 2005 to October 13, 2007, she was the Foreign Minister's Special Representative for Afghanistan . On October 13, 2007, she was appointed ambassador to Stockholm , where she was accredited until 2010.

On June 2, 1999, she was accepted as an officer in the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic .
