Anna Hiidensalo (born April 9, 1988 ) is a former Finnish biathlete and former cross-country skier .

Anna Hiidensalo starts for Vantaan Hiihtoseura . She competed in her first international cross-country skiing race in 2008 as part of the FIS races in Finland, and since 2012 also in the Scandinavian Cup races . She was able to achieve top ten placements in FIS races several times, but she did not make her breakthrough in the sport and switched to biathlon for the 2012/13 season.

Hiidensalo made her international debut in biathlon in 2013 in the IBU Cup , where she was 45th of a sprint in Martell in the following pursuit race as 41st, just missing the points by one place. She won this a little later in a sprint in Osrblie . It is also her best result so far in the second highest racing series. The first international championship was the 2014 European Biathlon Championships in Nové Město na Moravě . Hiidensalo finished 53rd in the individual, 52nd in the sprint and 50th in the pursuit. With Sanna Markkanen , Laura Toivanen and Emmi Floor , she was tenth with the Finnish season.
