Anna Kistanowa ( Russian Анна Владимировна Кистанова ; English Anna Kistanova ; born August 26, 1990 ) is a Kazakh biathlete .

Kistanowa made her international debut at the 2011 Biathlon Junior World Championships in Nové Město na Moravě . She finished 25th in the sprint and 21st in the pursuit. In the individual she landed on 35th place with eight shooting errors. From 2011 it was used in the IBU Cup and the World Cup . In the IBU Cup 2011/12 she finished 89th in the Östersund sprint on her debut. In her World Cup debut and only season appearance in the 2011/12 season in the Östersund singles , she landed in 80th place.

In 2013 it was used for the next time in the World Cup, in the Oslo sprint it was ranked 79th. Also in the next World Cup appearances, in 2014 in Kontiolahti and Oslo, it was placed well outside the points. In the 2014/15 season Kistanowa was used for the first time in the Kazakh relay, together with Olga Poltoranina , Galina Vishnevskaya and Darja Ussanowa , she finished 14th in Hochfilzen . Since then, Kistanowa has been regularly used in the Kazakh women's relay .

At the 2015 Biathlon World Championships in Kontiolahti, it was used for the first time in the mixed relay, which finished in 24th place when lapped. She was also used in all individual competitions except the mass start, for which she did not qualify. In the sprint she qualified for the pursuit for the first time with 47th place, but remained outside the points as in the individual.

At the last World Cup of the season in Khanty-Mansiysk , Kistanowa ran in 37th place for the first time in the points, which she was able to repeat in the following pursuit with 32nd place.

At the 2015/16 World Cup , she made it into the points twice with a 33rd place in the Canmore sprint and a 38th place in the Presque Isle sprint . At the 2016 Biathlon World Championships in Oslo , she achieved eighth place, together with Galina Vishnevskaya, Darja Ussanowa and Alina Raikowa, her best result so far in the women's relay. In the same line-up, you could also achieve eighth place in the relay race in Antholz .

In the 2016/17 World Cup , Kistanowa achieved her best ever World Cup result with 30th place in the Östersund singles.
