Anna Neuhof (born January 12, 1952 in Wissen an der Sieg ) is a German politician of the Greens . In 2011 she was elected to the 16th state parliament in Rhineland-Palatinate .

education and profession

Neuhof is a specialist nurse for psychiatry and worked in assisted living for the rehabilitation of the mentally ill. She lives in churches (Sieg) .

politics

After being politically active in the peace movement , Neuhof joined the Green Alternative List in Münster, where she lived at the time, and became a member of the board there. Since 2008 she has been living in the northernmost part of Rhineland-Palatinate again and, after a break of several years, is involved in Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen. Subsequently, she acted as spokeswoman for the board of the local association Betzdorf- Kirchen. Since the local elections in Rhineland-Palatinate in 2009 she has been a member of the Association of Churches . She represents her group in the main and finance committee .

Neuhof was set up as a direct candidate for the constituency of Betzdorf / Kirchen (Sieg) . For her party, she was number 15 on the state list of the Greens in the state elections in Rhineland-Palatinate in 2011 .

From May 18, 2011 she was a member of the 16th state parliament of Rhineland-Palatinate until 2016. She was the spokesperson for forestry, hunting, animal welfare and rural areas. She was a full member of the Environment Committee.
