Anna Regina Welsch

Anna Regina Welsch (born August 11, 1655 in Leipzig , † August 22, 1674 in Leipzig) came from a Leipzig medical family. Her parents erected an epitaph in her honor , which can be seen in the St. Pauli University Church in Leipzig .

Anne Regina Welsch's parents are the physician Gottfried Welsch and his wife Maria, geb. Anckelmann . She had 8 brothers and 4 sisters. She died shortly after her 19th birthday and was buried on August 27, 1674 in the St. Pauli University Church in Leipzig .

Epitaph for Anna Regina Welsch

The epitaph, created in the Baroque style , consists of a frame in silver and gold, which encloses a portrait of the deceased and a short inscription. Unfortunately, the creator of the epitaph is not known.
