Anna von der Asseburg

Anna Maria Rosalia Ferdinande Countess von der Asseburg , b. by Kleist , (* 18th June 1830 in Neudek ; † 13. December 1905 in Bad Bielohrad ) the rule was from 1869 to 1881 owner Neudek with Tüppelsgrün . Furthermore, from 1885 she owned the Bělohrad rule in Eastern Bohemia.

Life

Anna was the only child of Heinrich Freiherr von Kleist (1797–1876) from the Redel-Bohemian side branch, whose mother was a Freiin von der Asseburg from Gunsleben, and Anna Veith, daughter of the large landowner and textile entrepreneur Jakob Veith , of Tüppelsgrün 1828 from his brother-in-law Friedrich Ritter von Neupaur had acquired. She grew up in Tüppelsgrün , whose castle was more homely than the one in Neudek. When the Neudek Castle burned down in 1857, her father had it rebuilt.

On February 28, 1854, Anna Freiin von Kleist in Neudek married Bernhard Friedrich Asche Wolf Graf von der Asseburg, who was born in Meisdorf . On March 1, 1869, her father transferred the rule of Neudek with Tüppelsgrün to her. However, her husband died on November 13, 1869 in Neudek at the age of 38, so that she had to take care of the administration alone. Among other things, she founded an orphanage in Neudek as the Anna Bernhard Orphanage Foundation . On September 30, 1881, she sold Neudek and Tüppelsgrün along with the Oberchodau estate to the Jewish banker Moritz Freiherr von Königswarter from Vienna and moved to Eastern Bohemia.

She was buried in Asseburg's hereditary burial in Meisdorf . In the knight's hall of Falkenstein Castle (Harz) a window with Kleist's coat of arms is dedicated to the couple.
