The first documented mention of Tüppelsgrün, formerly also Diepoldsgrün or Düplesgrün, as owned by the Tepler Probsteigut Lichtenstadt , comes from the year 1273. The origin of the estate is likely to date back to the late Middle Ages, when Tüppelsgrün was given as a pawn to Count Schlick . The stately castle was built by the Schlicks in the second half of the 16th century. Count Lorenz Schlick (1495–1585) served it as a retirement home. Later an office administrator was quartered there.

In 1645 the property fell to Julius Heinrich von Sachsen-Lauenburg and was united with the Schlackenwerth rule until the beginning of the 19th century . It was offered for sale by the Imperial and Royal Court Chamber in 1819, and Friedrich Ritter von Neupauer bought it and sold it to his brother-in-law, the industrialist Jacob Veith (1758–1833). His daughter and heir Anna was married to Freiherr Heinrich Freiherrn von Kleist (1797–1876). After the abolition of patrimonial rule in 1848/49, Tüppelsgrün became part of the newly created judicial district of Karlsbad .

The parish pub Tüppelsgrün was built in 1775 on the initiative of Margravine Elisabeth Auguste von Baden . Before that, Tüppelsgrün belonged to the parish of Lichtenstadt . Voigtsgrün, with parts of Neu-Voigtsgrün, Kammersgrün , Pechöfen and part of Hohenstollen , was parish into the parish, which had been independent since 1784 .

Due to the sheltered location and the mild climate, lively agriculture was practiced here, mainly cereals. However, several residents also commuted to the large factories in Neudek . At the beginning of the 20th century, Tüppelsgrün became a popular summer retreat, to which the generous facilities of a lido contributed in particular.

After the First World War , Tüppelsgrün was added to the newly created Czechoslovakia in 1919 . After the Munich Agreement of 1938, the place became part of the German Empire and belonged to the Karlsbad district until 1945 . At the end of the Second World War , Tüppelsgrün was taken over by Czechoslovakia. The German residents were expropriated and expelled in 1945/46 .
