Annakapelle (Irresheim)
The Anna chapel is in Irresheim near Nörvenich , Düren district .
The chapel was built in 1888. The small plot of land was given to the former community of Irresheim by a Mr. Hergarten from Merzenich . The construction costs were raised through collections in the small village. The small bell is said to have been dismantled during the First World War .
In the Anna chapel stands the figure "Anna as an educator". At the beginning of the 1970s, the building was thoroughly renovated. Among other things, the chapel got a new door. The new windows were designed and made by a local glass artist at the time.
