The Roman Catholic branch church of St. Mary's Visitation is located on the southwestern outskirts of Frauwüllesheim in the municipality of Nörvenich in North Rhine-Westphalia .
General

Since the merger of the former parishes of St. Medardus, St. Gertrud, St. Heribert, St. Mariä Visitation, St. Martinus and St. Viktor to form the parish of St. Josef, Nörvenich, St. Mary's Visitation is no longer a parish church.
Remodeling, renovations
Between 1877 and 1880, major alterations and renovations were carried out under the direction of Heinrich Wiethase . 1912 Baroque altar by a neo-Gothic altar replaced. Further changes in the interior of the church took place in 1948 and in the early 1960s.
Building
Consisting of large red sandstone blocks executed nave building has a low, from plastered rubble three sides closing chorus . It is the older part of the church. It is probably the first component, the chapel built in 1123, to which a nave was added in the 13th century . The main cornice under the five-sided slate roof is laid in the throat with three-leaf oak ornaments. The five pointed arch windows also have leaf ornaments in their tracery . Four gargoyles have been specially worked out above the buttresses on the choir . On the nave, under the high, slate- covered roof, with a dormer on the south and north sides, the large pointed arch windows are particularly noticeable. Gargoyles are also attached above the double-stepped pointed pillars.
In the years 1877–1880, the former hipped roof on the west side was converted into a steep gable and a vestibule with two portals was added. There is a large rose window above the vestibule. Heinrich Wiethase also had the sacristy rebuilt and the roof turret moved from the center to the east.
inner space
The choir and nave have cross vaults with delicate, slender ribs and ornamental keystones . In the choir, the vault rests on six services , in the nave on columns and service bundles.
In the middle field of the north wall there is a crucifixion group with wooden carved figures three-quarters life-size. The hand-carved statuettes of the Three Kings are also on the north wall . This underlines the connection to St. Maria in the Capitol in Cologne .
The organ was built in 1870 by the organ builder Franz Joseph Schorn from Kuchenheim near Euskirchen. It has eleven registers on two manuals with attached pedal in a fully mechanical sliding drawer design.
