The Anna Church is a Protestant branch church in Oberredwitz , a district of Marktredwitz .

The Anna Church goes back to medieval origins, which is why the area is designated as a ground monument with regard to previous buildings. It is located near the Oberredwitz Castle . The lords of the castle were patrons and owners of the manor . The coat of arms of the von Redwitz family as the early owners of the village is embedded on the outside wall of the church . Another owner in the 17th century was the Müffling family called Weiß .

One of the special features of the predominantly baroque furnishings is the wooden ceiling, divided into motif panels, which alternately show angels with tools of passion and flowers with tendril patterns. The inventory also includes a pulpit altar , an organ without a case and a parish chair .

A large wooden epitaph to the left of the altar reminds of the Teuffel von Birkensee , who owned the site at the beginning of the 18th century and who left their coat of arms on the pulpit altar, held by an angel.
