Anne Frank Prize
The Anne Frank Prize ( Dutch: Anne Frank-prijs) was a literary prize that was awarded annually to two Dutch writers under the age of 30 between 1957 and 1966 . It was donated by Albert Hackett and Frances Goodrich after they received the Pulitzer Prize in 1956 for a theater adaptation of Anne Frank's diary . It was awarded by the Netherland-America Foundation , which has been promoting cultural exchange between the Netherlands and the USA since 1921 . The selection was made by a four-person jury. Both were awarded novels , poems , plays , essays , short stories , as well as the complete works of several authors. The prize was endowed with 2500 or 1000 guilders .
