Anne-Marie Eklund Löwinder (born September 26, 1957 in Stockholm ) is a Swedish information scientist . As an “ innovator ” of the Internet , she was inducted into the Hall of Fame .

Services

Anne-Marie Eklund Löwinder has been an innovator since 1999, driving the implementation of the Domain Name System Security Extensions (DNSSEC). She was involved in both the development of the protocol and the application of the procedure and has presented DNSSEC to conferences and training courses around the world. In 2005, thanks to Eklund Löwinder, .se was the first top-level domain in the world to be signed with DNSSEC.

Since 2004 Eklund Löwinder has been quality and security manager at Internetstiftelsen (IIS or .SE), the Swedish foundation for Internet infrastructure . She is a board member of CENTR (Council of European National Top-Level Domain Registries), now a "non-profit" association of international top level domain registries and a member of the board of the Swedish Institutet för rättsinformatik (IRI; Institute for Legal Informatics ) as well as the Swedish Network Users' Society (SNUS). Eklund Löwinder is also a member of the Swedish Information Security Council.

The ICANN has Eklund Löwinder for "Crypto Officer" for the root zone appointed.

Eklund Löwinder holds a PhD in Computer Science from Stockholm University .

Honors

In 2013, Eklund Löwinder was the first woman to be inducted into the “Innovators” of the Internet Hall of Fame. Her services to DNSSEC were recognized. For two years she received the IP Prize of the Swedish Network Users' Society (SNUS).
