Anne-Marie Rindom (born June 14, 1991 in Søllerød Kommune ) is a Danish sailor .
successes
Anne-Marie Rindom, who starts in the Laser Radial boat class , took part in two Olympic Games . In 2012 she took 13th place in London with 130 points. At the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro , she finished the regatta with 71 points behind Marit Bouwmeester and Annalize Murphy in third place, with which she won the bronze medal. At world championships she first secured the silver medal in the boat class Europe in 2008, before she became world champion the following year. In the boat class Laser Radial she won the title in Mussanah in 2015 and in Sakaiminato in 2019, in between she was third twice. She also won the title at the European Championships in 2019.
In 2019, the World Sailing Association named Rindom World Sailor of the Year .
