Anne Clark Martindell
Anne Clark Martindell (born July 18, 1914 in New York City , † June 11, 2008 ) was an American diplomat and politician ( Democratic Party ).
She was from August 28, 1979 to May 7, 1981 as the successor to Armistead Inge Selden the United States Ambassador to New Zealand . It was also accredited in Western Samoa . Before serving as Ambassador, she was a member of the New Jersey State Senate from 1973 to 1977 . Her memoirs, titled Never too late ( dt. : It is never too late to have been published in 2008).
Anne Clark Martindell was the sister of the journalist Blair Clark (1917-2000).
