Anne Kjersti Suvdal (born July 30, 1987 in Gjøvik , Norway ) is a former Norwegian handball player who was part of the squad of the Norwegian national team.

Career

Anne Kjersti Suvdal joined the Norwegian first division club Nordstrand IF at the age of 17 , where she played together with Mia Hundvin on the left wing position . For the 2007/08 season, the right-hander switched to league competitor Gjerpen IF . After Suvdal ran two seasons for Gjerpen, she returned to Nordstrand. In the 2013/14 season she was under contract with the Danish first division club Viborg HK . With Viborg she won the Danish Championship, the Danish Cup and the European Cup Winners' Cup . Subsequently, Suvdal joined the Norwegian club Oppsal IF . Due to her pregnancy, she paused from January 2016. Suvdal joined the Norwegian first division club Storhamar IL in the summer of 2017 . For family reasons, she left the club in November 2017 and ended her career.

Anne Kjersti Suvdal appeared 8 times for the Norwegian youth national team. On April 7, 2006 she made her debut for the Norwegian national team. Suvdal won the 2006 European Championship with Norway .

Private

Anne Kjersti Suvdal is in a relationship with the soccer player Petter Vaagan Moen . The couple have a daughter together.
