Mia Terese Hundvin (born March 7, 1977 in Bergen , Norway ) is a former Norwegian handball player .
Career
Hundvin began playing handball at Løv-Ham in 1986. Three years later she moved to Tertnes IL . In the 1996/97 season, the winger played for Gjerpen IF, but returned to Tertnes IL at the end of the season. In 2000 Hundvin moved to the Danish club FIF, for which she went hunting for goals for a year. The right-hander then worked for Slagelse DT . In 2003 Hundvin moved to Aalborg DH , where she played only a few games due to pregnancy. At the end of the season Hundvin returned to Norway to Nordstrand IF , where she ended her career after a year. After Hundvin was no longer active for several years, she put on Nordstrand's jersey again in the 2007/08 season.
Hundvin completed 72 games for the Norwegian national handball team , in which they scored 174 hits. With the Norwegian selection, she triumphed at the 1999 World Cup and the 1998 European Championship . In 2000 the Norwegian won the bronze medal at the Olympic Games.
Private
Mia Hundvin had a registered partnership with handball player Camilla Andersen for three years . She then met the snowboarder Terje Håkonsen , with whom she has three children.
