Anne Rosellini

Anne Rosellini (born 1968 or 1969 ) is an American film producer .

Rosellini grew up in Mercer Island near Seattle. As a teenager, she became interested in movies, which is why she took the bus to Seattle to see movies like Another Country . She recalls: “I loved escaping to films from a very early age.” After graduating from Mercer Island High School, she did her Bachelor of Fine Arts in film theory and history at the Art Institute of Chicago . After returning home, she founded the 1 Reel festival together with others and was responsible for the program of the Seattle International Film Festival . She was also a buyer for Atom Films . After finishing her job at Atom Films , Rosellini moved to New York. There she met the filmmaker Debra Granik , whom she already knew from the 1 Reel Festival and was looking for a film producer. The two decided to work together, which resulted in the films Down to the Bone (2004) and Winter's Bone (2010). Rosellini also wrote the script for the latter. For Winter's Bone she was nominated at the Academy Awards 2011 together with Granik in the category Best Adapted Screenplay and together with Alix Madigan in the category Best Picture , but won neither.

In 2014 she produced the documentary Stray Dog , followed by the feature film Leave No Trace in 2018 .

In 2010 she gave birth to a son.
