Anne Spielberg

Anne R. Spielberg (born December 25, 1949 in Philadelphia , Pennsylvania ) is an American screenwriter and film producer .

Life

Anne R. Spielberg was as a child's second oldest, and younger sister of Steven Spielberg , of Arnold Spielberg and Leah Posner in Philadelphia born. She has two younger sisters: Susan (1953) and Nancy (1956). After helping out as a production assistant for her brother's films during her youth, she also worked for her brother after completing her studies at Arizona State University and was employed by his brother's production company Amblin Entertainment from 1983 . Spielberg made her debut as a screenwriter with the science fiction television film Time Warp and her greatest success with the comedy Big , as she was awarded an Oscar nomination for Best Original Screenplay in 1989 . However, she then withdrew from the film business and has not been active since.
