Anne Warner

Anne Elizabeth Taubes Warner (born August 24, 1954 in Boston ) is a former American rower who was third in the 1976 Olympics with an eighth .

The 1.73 m tall Anne Warner won the silver medal behind the GDR eighth at the 1975 World Championships in Nottingham. From this boat, Carol Brown , Anne Warner, Carie Graves and helmswoman Lynn Silliman were there a year later . The newly manned eighth finished third behind the boats from the GDR and the Soviet Union at the 1976 Olympic Games in Montreal . In 1977, Anita DeFrantz and Anne Warner formed a pair without a helmsman from last year's eighth and finished sixth at the 1977 World Championships . In 1978 both returned to eighth, who finished fourth in the World Championships .

In 1980 Anne Warner was a member of the US eight that beat the eight from the GDR in Lucerne. At the 1980 Olympic Games in Moscow, no athletes from the United States competed because of the Olympic boycott .

Anne Warner studied at Yale University and Harvard Law School . She later served as a lawyer and legal advisor for Alexion Pharmaceuticals .
