Annegret Kroniger

Annegret Kroniger (born September 24, 1952 in Bochum ) is a former German athlete who won the silver medal in the 4 x 100 meter relay for Germany at the 1976 Olympics in Montreal (42.59 s, together with Inge Helten , Annegret Richter and Elvira Possekel ). In the 200-meter run of these games, she was eliminated in the preliminary run.

More Achievements

Kroniger belonged to the USC Bochum until 1971 , then to the USC Mainz . In her active days she was 1.71 m tall and weighed 60 kg. She competed in 30 international matches and has been a holder of the Silver Laurel Leaf since 1976 . After her resignation in 1977, she admitted to having doped with anabolic steroids. She was married to the high jumper Walter Boller .
