Annelies Glaner
Annelies Glaner (née Nitz ; born April 25, 1922 in Berlin ; † November 5, 2001 ) was a German politician ( SED ) and a functionary of the Democratic Women's Association of Germany (DFD). She was chairwoman of the DFD district board in Berlin .
Life
Glaner, by profession a clerk , was in 1945 temporarily as FDGB -Funktionärin, including as secretary of the FDGB District Board Berlin, active. She joined the SED and qualified as a social scientist .
From May 1964 to July 1978 she acted as chairwoman of the Berlin district board of the DFD (successor to Ruth Schirmer) and was a member of the presidium of the DFD federal board from 1964 to 1982. Glaner was also a member of the SED district leadership in Berlin from June 1964 to February 1979 and a member of the Berlin city council from 1967 to 1981 .
Glaner died at the age of 79 and was buried in the central cemetery in Berlin-Friedrichsfelde .
