Anneliese Augustin

Anneliese Augustin , née Anneliese Mindermann (born April 24, 1930 in Kassel ) is a German politician. She was on 13 January 1984 and 1987 of 6 December 1989 to 1998 the country Hessen four election periods long MPs from the Christian Democratic Union (CDU) in the German Bundestag .

Life

After high school in Loerrach and studying in Basel and Freiburg , she received in 1957 her license to practice as a pharmacist . In this profession she worked independently from 1958 until she entered the Bundestag .

Augustin is married and has two children.

Party and mandate

In 1967 Augustin joined the CDU. There she became a member of the district executive committee of Kassel-Stadt in 1969, and in 1978 deputy district chairwoman. In 1972 she became city councilor in Kassel, 1977 deputy parliamentary group leader. She headed the CDU Mittelstandsvereinigung Kassel-Stadt from 1983, and in 1987 she became deputy state chairman. Within the CDU, she was a member of the federal specialist committees on health policy and the environment.
