Annemiek Derckx
Annemiek Derckx , actually Anna Maria Josephine Derckx (born April 12, 1954 in Beegden , now Maasgouw in the province of Limburg ), is a former Dutch canoeist .
Derckx won in canoe racing at the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles , the bronze medal in the one-kayak women over a distance of 500 meters ( short ) with a time of 2: 00,11 minutes. At the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul , she also achieved third place in the women's two-man kayak (K2) together with Annemarie Cox and a time of 1: 46.00 min.
In addition, she took third place at the Canoe Racing World Championships in Mechelen in 1985 with Annemarie Cox in the K2 over 500 m and two years later won silver with Cox in the K2 in the same distance at the Canoe Racing World Championships in Duisburg in 1987 .
