Annette Brockmöller

Annette Brockmöller (born August 17, 1963 ) is a German lawyer and judge at the Federal Court of Justice .

Life

Brockmöller studied law at the Georg-August University in Göttingen . In 1997 she passed her second state examination in law and began her career in the justice system in Lower Saxony . She initially worked for the public prosecutor's office , and then worked as a judge at the district court and regional court in Hanover . From 2002 to 2006 she was seconded to the Federal Constitutional Court as a research assistant . In 2006 she was appointed judge at the Higher Regional Court in Celle . She worked there at two civil senates. In 2008 she was seconded to the Lower Saxony Ministry of Justice , where she worked as a department head . She headed the department responsible for constitutional and European law as well as public law in the ministry and worked as a Federal Council officer for the Lower Saxony Ministry of Justice. Since 2001 she has been the part-time editor in charge of the Archive for Legal and Social Philosophy .

In February 2011 Annette Brockmöller was appointed judge at the Federal Court of Justice and assigned to the IV Civil Senate of the Federal Court of Justice .

She has been married to the later physics professor at the University of Stuttgart Martin Dressel since 1986 .
