Annette Ramelsberger (born March 22, 1960 in Vilshofen , Lower Bavaria ) is a German journalist .

Life

After graduating from high school, Annette Ramelsberger attended the German School of Journalism in Munich, then studied politics, law and journalism at the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich and graduated as a journalist.

From 1985 to 1988 she was an editor at the Associated Press (AP) news agency in Frankfurt, from 1988 AP correspondent in the GDR .

In 1991 she moved to the Berliner Zeitung . Two years later she moved back to Munich; As a Bayern correspondent, she reported for the news magazine Der Spiegel . From 1997 onwards, Annette Ramelsberger worked in the domestic affairs department of the Süddeutsche Zeitung , she mainly wrote reports from Germany. From July 2008 to spring 2010 she headed the Bavaria section of the Süddeutsche Zeitung.
