Anni Biechl

Anni Biechl , married Capeller (from 1961) (born March 17, 1940 in Großinzemoos ), is a former German athlete who won the silver medal in the 4 x 100 meter relay at the 1960 Olympic Games in Rome (44, 8 s, together Martha Langbein , Brunhilde Hendrix and Jutta Heine ). She started at these games for the Federal Republic in a joint German team.

She also took part in the 1958 European Championships in the 100-meter run , but was eliminated in the intermediate run. In 1959 and 1960 Biechl became German champion in the 100-meter run.

Anni Biechl was a member of PSV Munich . In her active days she was 1.63 m tall and weighed 60 kg.

After her active career, she trained in the athletics department at TSV Graefelfing from 1978 to 1996 . Under Anni Biechl, 14 German championships and 106 Bavarian championships were won. After that she remained active in the association as a consultant until 2005. In 2005 she retired completely from athletics.
