Annika Hocke (born July 16, 2000 in Berlin ) is a German figure skater .
Career
Hocke started figure skating in 2005. She started out as a single runner and finally switched to pair skating in 2017, after having already gained pair skating experience with Jurij Gnilozubov .
Season 2017/18, 2018/19 - with Ruben Blommaert
Since the beginning of 2017, Hocke has been training with senior runner Ruben Blommaert, alternately in Berlin with Knut Schubert and in Oberstdorf with Alexander König . In 2019, Hocke / Blommaert separated after a season and a long period of injury and illness.
Season 2019/20 - with Robert Kunkel
Since 2019, Hocke has been training with the junior runner Robert Kunkel at the pair skating performance center in Berlin under the coaching team Alexander König , Romy Austria , Rico Rex , Dimitri Savin.
One week after their competitive debut, Hocke / Kunkel were the first German couple to move into a Junior Grand Prix final. At the Junior World Championships, Hocke / Kunkel won the small bronze medal for the freestyle and came 4th in the overall ranking. They finished 7th in their European Championship debut and would have qualified and been nominated for the World Cup, which was canceled due to Corona.
