Anno from Heimburg
Anno von Heimburg (* unknown; † after 1170) was a German ministerial and Vogt of Goslar .
Life
Anno and his brother Luppold are among the oldest verifiable members of the noble family of the Lords of Heimburg . These were allegedly by the Saxon Duke and Roman-German King Lothar III. († 1137) used the Heimburg in what is now the Harz district , after he had taken over the castle that was owned by the Empire. After the death of Lothar III, the castle and ministerial came to finally to his grandson and heir Heinrich the Lionwho was Duke of Saxony from 1142. In its surroundings, Anno von Heimburg between 1143 and 1166 can be documented more than 20 times inside and outside the Duchy of Saxony. In 1145 he was involved in the founding of the Riddagshausen monastery by the ministerial Ludolf von Dahlum . Anno owned fiefdoms of Henry the Lion in the Goslar area, such as Mühlenplatz at the Königsbrücke and goods on the Nordberg . From 1152 to 1163 Anno was Vogt von Goslar. Between 1143 and 1170 he was Henry the Lion's Chamberlain.
Anno von Heimburg died after 1170, leaving behind the sons Heinrich, Anno, Luppold and Erkenbert.
