Alice Annum

Alice Annum (born October 20, 1948 in Accra ) is a former Ghanaian sprinter and long jumper .

In the long jump she was eliminated from the qualification at the 1964 Olympic Games in Tokyo and won the African Games in Brazzaville .

In 1966 she was eleventh in the long jump at the British Empire and Commonwealth Games in Kington and was eliminated over 100 yards in the run.

At the 1968 Olympic Games in Mexico City, she came over 200 m and in the long jump not beyond the first round.

In 1970 she won silver over 100 m and 200 m at the British Commonwealth Games in Edinburgh and was again eleventh in the long jump.

At the 1972 Olympic Games in Munich, she was sixth in the 100 m and seventh in the 200 m .

The following year she managed a double victory over 100 m and 200 m at the 1973 African Games in Lagos. In 1974 she won bronze at the British Commonwealth Games in Christchurch in the 200 m and 4 x 100 m relay . She was fourth over 100 m and seventh in the 4-by-400-meter relay .
