Ano Fanari ( Greek Ανω Φανάρι ( n. Sg. )) Is a local community ( Topiki Kinotita Τοπική Κοινότητα) and a village in the north of the municipality of Trizina in the municipality of Trizinia-Methana on the Peloponnese peninsula . The mountain village, located at almost 500 m above sea level, which administratively belongs to the municipality of Trizinia-Methana and thus to the islands regional district of the Attica region, is dominated by a small acropolis. In addition to the village of Ano Fanari with (2011) 128 inhabitants, Agia Eleni (159 inhabitants) also belongs to the local community of Ano Fanari.
